Growing up I was a big fan of holding unto whatever piece of gadget I had for as long as I possibly can. This includes cassette players, portable CD players, record players, my flip phones, even my 1991 Toyolta Corolla. I didn&amp;#39;t want to let any of them go.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Unfortunately, my cassette player, CD player, record player and flip phones all broke. My Toyota? Wouldn&amp;#39;t stop breaking. What did I have to do? Upgrade. Not because I wanted to, but because I didn&amp;#39;t really have a choice. And because I am very well familiar with my need to hold onto things until they broke, I got the latest of everything...as an investment. And truth be told? Adapting to them wasn&amp;#39;t the hard part...it was letting go of the ease and comfort I found in my technological past.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/1506705058971997416/5061012089090646350/comments/default/4530208318709231229'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/1506705058971997416/5061012089090646350/comments/default/4530208318709231229'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://3gen.experience.com/2009/10/is-your-future-in-palm-of-your-hand.html?showComment=1257539912221#c4530208318709231229' title=''/><author><name>Monica</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/05228713462771294760</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='OpenSocialUserId' value='06276259744791018795'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://3gen.experience.com/2009/10/is-your-future-in-palm-of-your-hand.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1506705058971997416.post-5061012089090646350' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/1506705058971997416/posts/default/5061012089090646350' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
