I took a job out of college as a District Sales Manager for a multi-billion dollar corporation for about $48K. 2 years into the job, I was making about $63K at 23 years old, but the job environment / expectations were inhumane. <BR/><BR/>I quit that job before formally landing the next one (things are well in the works), but I have absolutely no regrets. <BR/><BR/>I truly believe in doing whatever makes you feel happy, and the money should come second. I was making an AMAZING amount of money. Not many 23-year-olds make $55k+. But, I hated being a consultant. I missed my college field (journalism/media). So... I quit! It was liberating! And I took a job making $15k less. And I couldn't be happier. I have more responsibility, more room to grow, and I'm *happy*.
